Will Wood Flooring easily Scratch?
The short answer is yes, but this could be said about anything softer than a diamond. Wood Floors today are usually engineered in layers with a composite layer, a wood venear, and a top clear coat layer. The top layer is what makes actual contact with your furniture, family and pets. The top layer is very resistent to scratching but of course with enough force it can be scratched. However these scratches can be removed by using a clear coat filler. It is very hard to scratch the actual wood venear layer.
